The build

From tidy road car to race-ready BMW Compact Cup car, built entirely in our workshop in Zoetermeer. Scroll through the build: on the left you see which phase we’re in.

  1. Phase 1

    The starting point

A tidy BMW 3 Series Compact (E36) rolls into the workshop. From here we rebuild it from the ground up for the BMW Compact Cup.

  2. Phase 2

    Stripping

Everything a race car doesn’t need comes out: interior, insulation, wiring and the engine. Until only the bare shell is left.

  6. Phase 3

    Roll cage

A custom-welded roll cage, tied into the bodyshell. It makes the car safe and stiffer at the same time.

  8. Phase 4

    Paint

Interior, engine bay and cage go into a crisp white. Clean, protected and easy to work on.

  11. Phase 5

    Rebuild

Front end, suspension and the wiring loom go back in. Part by part, the car comes together again.

    On its own wheels

Back outside for the first time, on race wheels. Now it really starts to look the part.
